The organization I work for is a vehicle claims manager, which does vehicle assessment for insurance companies. The organization has had a booking system since 2006 which was written in asp.
This legacy application had to be decommissioned but the data still needed to be available. There were a few suggestions on the best way to make the data available. Finally the IT team decided on building a simple power apps solution.
The solution had to
- Be able to provide access to only a restricted set of users,
- Users should be able to search for a booking by claim number , policy number etc
- Users should be able to view important information about the booking such as any notes added , documents added or quote calculation inputted
- Users should be able to see all photos attached to the booking.
