Custom Connector For ConnectWise Manage

Hi All,

Looking to see if anybody has been able to create a custom connector to Connectwise Manage.

I have not had much success and have API keys to Connectwise  to try to use Base64 authentication to access RESTful endpoints and perform GET and PATCH operations.

 I am Using Postman tool to view the interactions between Power Apps and ConnectWise and the header details.

Anybody who can suggest the best way to get authentication to work with ConnectWise , would be much appreciated.

@locamobi , I have been able to create the custom connector for ConnectWise Manage (hosted).  I have used the APIs now many times and have Power Automate running from CW data, along with the Callbacks and Webhooks.  Is there a particular error you are seeing when connecting?  And yes, Postman is fantastic for testing CW connections.

As an error would appreciate help on how you created the custom connector please? I am a hosted CW environment and the Postman collection works in postman. Just did the V2 export converted it to v1 and imported. 

Using basic Auth with my client id etc etc

I think I see my problem post man set the paths as: 

/v4_6_release/apis/3.0/project/tickets/%7B%7BProjectTicketNumber%7D%7D/notes:

So how do I tell PowerAutomate that ProjectTicketNumber is a variable in the path?

Its ok worked it out had to edit the path statement and add the variables using { instead of {{ and add the parameter for the path.

@stephanjenner , glad you were able to get over the hurdles. It took me a while to figure out all of the nuances of the Customer Connectors vs. Postman and such.  It has been easier so far to only build the EndPoints that are needed.  Exporting from Postman or even CW doesn't work great when importing into the Custom Connector.  If you do have other problems, don't hesitate to post questions.
