Configuring datetime format (removing timestamp)

Hi Experts,

I am trying to display the date time in a specific format ( example: 11:59 p.m. EDT, March 22, 2022). I have created a site setting seen in the pic below but the timestamp always follows the year. How can i remove the timestamp?

Technically there used to be 3 settings that could be used for formatting date time:

• DateTime/DateFormat
• DateTime/TimeFormat
• DateTime/DateTimeFormat

As you are trying to do a combined data+time formatting try the last one from the bullets above. (first 2 were for the separate components not the complete string)

I tried using DateTime/DateTimeFormat as requested but this is what i see:

We assume that you want to remove the year from the date format. If yes then add the below format in site settings :

On value you have to add h:mm tt zzz MMMM d

Or you want to display only time then add value h:mm tt zzz

Output will be :

I actually want the output to be like the one above without the timestamp at the end.

So it should read: '8:00 AM January 26, 2023' (without the 8:00AM following)

Please go to the Site Settings in the Portal Management app then add the below format in the Site Settings record titled "DateTime/DateFormat"  :

On value you have to add h:mm tt MMMM d , yyyy

Note this is the template that is generating the list, it is a custom fetchxml table:

If it is just to display results from the fetch, then you should be able to use a Liquid filter on your date result as you output it.  e.g.

{{ now | date: 'MMMM dd, yyyy' }}
