502 bad gateway when trying to execute an excel script

Hi, I am getting a 502 bad gateway error when trying to execute a script. Tried both the Excel Run Script action as well as the Sharepoint Run Script one, same result. Here is the error:

The dynamic operation request to API 'excelonlinebusiness' operation 'GetSingleScriptV2' failed with status code 'BadGateway'. Error response: { "error": { "code": 502, "source": "europe-002.azure-apim.net", "clientRequestId": "c4db4595-ddc9-4b2b-a7ac-aacdb4478beb", "message": "BadGateway", "innerError": { "status": 502, "message": "The server experienced an issue and couldn't complete the request. Can you try recreating the script from scratch from the Automate tab in Excel? I'm seeing that your file may have been corrupted.

I'm quite new to power automate. I'm trying to run a script in an excel document in onde drive for business. The script runs fine in the spreadsheet,

I have created a flow that is triggered by "For this Row" in another spreadsheet. but when I try to run the script I get a bad gateway. Is this the same issue that others are reporting in this thread?

Hi @GeoffRen,

I'm also facing the same error for "uk-001.azure-apim.net"

I tried recreating the excel scripts from scratch but it is still giving the same issue.

Please look into this.

Thanks

Having the same issue, is there a service issue?

Same here except for "europe-002.azure-apim.net", I have also tried recreating the excel scripts from scratch but it is still giving the same issue.

Any update would great.

Cache Clear, Restart, Rewriting the script, deletion and the reconfiguration of the connector didn't work either.

Error 502 bad gateway with sharepoint script on excel online (business). Where can issues/tickets be opened to MS? The support page is fricking useless.

I'm having the same all of a sudden since today... Any news on a service outage?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem. It might be an issue on our side and we have been actively investigating the root cause. Will let you know once it's been addressed. Thanks for your patience!

It would also be helpful for us to help investigate your issue if you post the error you are receiving with any pertinent information (in particular, the clientRequestId) as the OP did.

Hi @GeoffRen

The issue should be mitigated, there was an issue with some certificate. Can you try again?

Hello @GeoffRen , I can confirm that the Error message in my Flow editor is gone, and that the flow is running as expected again. Thank you for the help and the update on the situation.

Hi Team, Is this error back? I'm trying to run an office script in my flow and getting the Following message.

@FelipeLB  I'm also seeing this issue today. clientRequestId b43be39d-c5ed-4c4f-9525-6b253fbbaf57

The error message could be much better but this looks like an unrelated error. It looks like your script is malformed. Was it modified manually at all? If you create a new script does the error persist?

This is my script. I'm looking into a potential network issue.

function main(workbook: ExcelScript.Workbook) {
  // Get the first worksheet
  const selectedSheet = workbook.getFirstWorksheet();
  //get active range of WorkSheet
  let range = workbook.getActiveWorksheet().getUsedRange();
  // Get last used row of WorkSheet
  let lastrow = range.getRowCount();
  // Find first reference of ID in selectedSheet i.e. header row
  let IDCell = selectedSheet.getRange("A1").find("FY", { completeMatch: true, matchCase: true, searchDirection: ExcelScript.SearchDirection.forward });
  // Get the current active cell in the workbook.
  //and format current cell without Sheet1! reference
  let activeCell = IDCell.getAddress().replace("Sheet1!", "");
  //get table range
  const TableRange = `${activeCell}:F${lastrow}`;
  // Create a table using the data range.
  let newTable = workbook.addTable(selectedSheet.getRange(TableRange), true);
  newTable.setName("NewTableInExcel");
  // Get the first (and only) table in the worksheet.
  let table = selectedSheet.getTables()[0];
  // Get the data from the table.
  let tableValues = table.getRange().getValues();
  //Return a response to the Cloud Flow
  return tableValues
}

Could you supply a different clientRequestId with a screenshot of the failure? I can't find your requestId (which would make sense if it is a network issue)
