Have you consider using the 'Send Email with Options' connector? It's a pretty easy setup and doesn't require designing cards. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/#send-email-with-options

That being said, if you still want to use ACs you can go to https://adaptivecards.io/designer and use the drag and drop designer to come up with some pretty good options. The site has some good documentation and examples to draw on as inspiration.

Hi @Bhanu2023 ,

I will be back from the Microsoft Power Platform conference Sunday but here's the recommended option I use - Send Email with Options.  It's a little more plain but functional and effective.

In this example, I have sending out an email to many vendors and it is a job that is first-accept wins.  There are three options, ETA (estimated time of arrival 1 hour, ETA 1.5 hours, and ETA 2 hours).  When one of the vendors push one of the buttons, they are actions to do the next steps, such as run an RPA flow, update a SP List, etc, etc.

Here's the flow example and email.

When one of your recipients clicks one of the buttons, they see this message.  If another recipient selects one after, it will say this message has been closed and it is no longer available.

Send email with options configuration action.  Note the buttons are highlighted in yellow below and are completely customizable.

That said, you can use an adaptive card also but require a little more setup and configuration.  I am going to have an adaptive card sample next week also.  Please see this reference:  Adaptive Cards.

My recommendation is to experience with Send email with Options as your first option and consider Adaptive Cards as your second choice (if you haven't explored Send email with Options yet).

Hi @Bhanu2023 ,

Here's the switch case option if you have more than 2 buttons in your email.  There's a default case as well.  In my example I have 3 buttons in my email and under each case I can have a series of related actions based on the selection.

@trice602 - Thanks for helping . I am able to use the option email. How can I pull  the result from outlook email response and get it added to Sharepoint ?

Hi @Bhanu2023 ,

I will provide an example flow tonight if someone else doesn't beat me to it today.

@trice602 - do you got a chance to check ? Please post If possible

Hi @Bhanu2023 ,

Continuing our discussion here, using Send Email with Options actions, the next action is to add a condition and check what the response was from the recipient. In my example, I am using a condition but if you have more than 2 you can also use a switch case.

Here if the user selects the button 'ETA 1 Hour' then do actions on the Yes side, otherwise do actions on the No side.  Again, this condition action works well if you have two buttons; I recommend a switch case if you have more than 2 buttons but I think you can see enough of the flow to understand how to continue processing responses in either case.

When I return next week I will do the adaptive card option also.
