Creating multiple SharePoint Folders using Apply to Each and capturing their ID's

Hello, I am testing a flow to reduce the steps using the various methods to create sharepoint folders.  Several of the create sharepoint folder actions including Microsofts and Plumsails will create a single folder for every action you create.  In the following flow the concept is you can provide a list of folder upstream such as in Sharepoint or Dynamics and it will create all the folders using an array and apply to each action.  The flow works as expected and it will create a folder for my list of folders however instead of having 4 folder ID's within dynamic content I only have access to a single Folder ID which is always mapped to the first folder created from the upstream list.  Considering I will need to update the metadata on all these folder ID's I need to figure out how to get all the folder ID's for the folders that were created by the flow.  I was thinking this could be accomplished with some additional actions within my apply to each bucket however am not having much luck putting this together.  Any guidance is appreciated.

create a variable array at the top of your Flow to hold the IDs.  Then inside the loop append the ID that is returned by the create action to the array.  Once you exit the loop you should now have an array with all the IDs in it.

Hi Pstork, thank you for your input.  This makes sense and assuming I can capture all ID's rather than only the first folder that is creatd it will meet my requirements.  That said, it's still only capturing only the ID of the first folder created.   I am guessing I still have something incorrect.

Hi @Dudditz 

Check value of your array variable after the for loop is complete

Your array variable must have all the ID's

after the for loop add a compose action and set its value to array variable and then run the flow

And there it is, I guess I was confused and was expecting to see all ID's in the append to array within the apply to each value and it only showed the first one however I believe this is normal.  As suggested after ading a compose after the Apply to each I now have all folder ID's  Thank you both for your guidance on this.

Nope, if you check the run you'll see one ID for each iteration of the loop.  YOu ahve to either scroll through the loops or look at the actual array.
