Dataflows in Dataverse, call refresh with variables as input parameters

Hello,

We are working on an app to allow triggering refresh dataflows using variables as an input opposed to pre-selected Environment/Dataflow on Flow configuration.

It seems Power Automate Refresh a dataflow action accepts only IDs, not the names for Environments.

1. What is the suffix added to the Environment GUID "-31....-canada", where does it come from? can we query for it?

2. Dataflows are stored in msdyn_dataflows table, we can resolve Dataflow GUID by the name, however there are 2 records for each flow with the same name, one created by Developer and 

the other by #PdpfCDSClient. They are clearly different, IDs, the content.... but modified with 10 sec difference. Which record to select then? The latest?

Any ideas?

1. The suffix added to the Environment GUID “-31…-canada” is the region where the environment is located. In this case, it is Canada. You can query for it by using the Power Platform Admin Center or the Power Apps CLI.

2. To resolve Dataflow GUID by name, you can use the “Get dataflow by name” API in Power Query. This API returns a list of dataflows that match the specified name. You can then filter the list based on the created by field to select the correct dataflow

Indeed, the suffix was the same for different environments, at least it is the same for the tenant and I can hardcode it.

The second issue a bit pecular, yes I can look up the dataflowId by the name, however, and that's the issue, there are 2 records for the same name. Every environment, every dataflow has 2 records in msdyn_dataflow table. They both being maintained, both have modifiedon date stamped when I update the flow to call refresh dataflow. I pick the most recent record out of two even the time difference ~10 sec. Also I very often see a message when I save the flow, The flow been updated by other user, discard or overwrite? I never seen this on any flows without dataflow action. 
Just wondering what is going on behind the scene.
