I have two different Flows and I am dealing with an date import from an Excel Sheet.

- The Date in the Excel is String and if the "Date Field" in the D365 Form is empty then the flow will add that date

- If the Date field in D365 form already contains data and the Excel "Update" has a new different date then it will overwrite and update

- If the Date field in D365 form already contains data and the Excel "Update" is blank then nothing happens (as I added nothing in the Update action in the Flow - I just left it blank) so nothing should happen...

IN One flow (Identical) it works beautifully. This means that if this is an "update" then add a date when there is one in Excel, however if there is nothing in Excel (empty) then don´t do anything

The Other flow however deletes the value that is in the date field in D365 even if there is no value in the excel field. There is no action in the flow itself to instruct it to overwrite anything blank or not...

Hi @FaroukM ,

I understand the case. What I meant was you can try use the value select from dynamic content to populate this column in Update a row action even though you don't want this column to be updated. In some cases, if you have populated a field with some value then remove it from the action, the action will not recognize the blank field as "won't change" but "here is blank". You can also delete the action then add it again, to initialize the internal codes.

Hi @FaroukM ,

Is there another Update a row action in the above Condition control? Since there is nothing in the true branch of the second condition control, I believe it's the first Update a row action overwrite the value. If you don't want to overwrite, could you please use the original value (select from dynamic content) to populate that column rather than leaving it blank?

I separated the Payment Date and the Due Date filters in its own branches to avoid issues with the split, however, this is the above condition Control (Create as well as Update) and I am not touching the "DueDate" in them either
