Excel Online and Add a Row Into Table Isn't Adding Rows/Information if I'm not Logged in.

Hello,

I have a flow that gets information and is supposed to add a row into a table daily using the Recurrence trigger. When I'm in the flow and test it, it works fine, adds the data, everything is swell. The next day when it runs though, nothing gets added to the Excel table.

I checked the flow run, it succeeded, all the information is there, it says that it added the rows to the table, but nothing appeared. I've checked shortly after the run, and after I get up the next day.

Originally, the excel document was on my Onedrive, I thought that could've been causing this so I recreated it in Sharepoint. No change, still the same issue.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing the flow to run but not actually update the excel sheet like it says it did?

There could be a few reasons why the rows are not being added to the Excel table in Power Automate, even though the flow run succeeds and says that the rows were added. Here are some potential causes and solutions to try:

5. If the Excel file is open when the flow runs, it could prevent the flow from updating the file. Make sure that the file is closed before running the flow.

Everything about the table/sheet is correct (remember, it works fine if I test from power automate). I would expect that it would error in the flow if it couldn't update it instead of succeeding, but if my attempt below doesn't fix the issue, I'll try having it go to a different sheet that isn't shared with anyone.

I'm going to try a different trigger, though the "Schedule - at" trigger appears to be recurrence

I'm going to have it be a manual trigger, but then have another flow that runs on the schedule that triggers this flow. It really shouldn't make a difference, but I'm at a loss.

I ended up putting it into a solution and having it set to "Manual trigger". I have another flow that's using the Recurrence trigger to trigger the original flow using the 'Run a Child Flow'. That seems to have worked.

I don't know why, but I'll take it.
