Flow failed to delete files from SharePoint folders and subfolders which are older than 4years

Hi,

I am trying to create a flow which tries to delete files older than 4 years but sometimes runs successfully without any output or sometimes gets failed. can anyone please help.

and also these folders have unique permissions and i dont want to break those permissions is there any other way?

I suspect that has to do with how your sharepoint or one-drive is setup.   You may need to be an administrator over the sharepoint to run such a deletion command (or have write permissions to every sharepoint folder)

I assume that you want to delete to save disk space? 

Sharepoint One Drive Business frequently has issues archiving and deleting documents older than 30 days.   It is so bad that generally by default a sharepoint is setup to limit who can delete things permanently.  There are often policies by default turned on to prevent this.  Instead it goes to a recycling bin.(*)   For example my organization has a policy that it doesn't go to the recycling bin at all, but is simple "unshared".

I would speak with whoever, is supposed to be in charge of your Azure instance or does Azure Cybersecurity about this deletion as there are plenty of good reason to have permanent deletion set up.   HIPPA is the biggest reason.

yes its for the SharePoint site and i have full control on the site and added myself as site administrator but still the flow skips these particular folders not sure why.

I am trying to create a workflow that does similar.  Have you resolved the issue?  Would appreciate if you could share the solution or workaround?
