How to promt to auto complete names

I have a flow that gets a string from powerapps that is then converted into an array of values. this is then written to an excel table. there are a total of 432 entries per submission which mean columns 1-432. in the flow I use variables('variablename')[x] where x is the column name - 1. I have tried to have copilot auto name these for me but thought maybe there is a better way to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Array 0-431 -> measurements read in via a csv/string from powerapps. this is working how I need already.

These map to 1-432 in the excel sheet/table

thank you in advance for any ideas on how this can be done more easily.

Hi @MSM_Scoozi

Bit confused on what you are trying to acheieve here- like you are saying about add row to table as well copilot usage here- could not connect both- could you please clarify ?

So what I am trying to do is get a string from powerapps like "5.45,3.86,1.24,9.54". This is then converted into an array so that the first number is index 0 and the last number is index 431. These then need to be saved to a row into an excel table using the add row to a table in my flow. Manually typing out the formulas for 432 columns is insane and so I am looking for a way to speed this process up. I cannot get the assistant to do anything meaningful as I am clueless on how to prompt it correctly.

Below is the code I need to be in each of the 432 column inputs in the excel step.
variables('VarName')[index] = variables('VarName')[columnName - 1]

@Nived_Nambiar here is a short video of what the issue is.

naming these or finding a better way of doing this is my end goal. I have the data where I need it in an array and also have the excel sheet made. as long as the 432 data points can be entered at one time and it works I am open as to how to make that happen. Thanks again!

Hi @MSM_Scoozi

Try like this approach -

Assume i have excel table with these columns

Nived_Nambiar_0-1720893530369.png

Use get tables to get list of tables

Nived_Nambiar_1-1720893560895.png

I have created an array which in your case would be result after splitting the data you got from powerapps

Nived_Nambiar_2-1720893594249.png

Initialize a Json object variable

Now create an apply to each loop which loops as many times as the number of items present in the array variable - in my case it is 4 elements present in array - but your case it would be 432.

see below

Nived_Nambiar_3-1720893977527.png

Inside the loop do the following actions

Nived_Nambiar_4-1720894012925.png

Expression -

addProperty(variables('Jobject'),string(items('Apply_to_each')),variables('array1')?[items('Apply_to_each')])

Now use set variable to update the JObject variable.
Nived_Nambiar_5-1720894066093.png

Outside the loop - do the following

Nived_Nambiar_6-1720894099927.png

Expression -

first(outputs('Get_tables')?['body/value'])?['id']

Now pass the Jobject variable in row field.

This would work 🙂

I don't like the loop 😉
