Populating a Word Doc and converting to PDF via PowerApps

Hello,

I have a sharepoint list with an integrated PowerApp acting as the input form.

I'm attempting to populate a word .docx template, & convert to a PDF using PowerAutomate via a button trigger in the app.

I have my flow sorted out (albeit untested), my word template uploaded and ready to go, however I'm having trouble with the OnSelect formula in PowerApps.
What I'm trying is:

'PowerApp->Getitem,PopulateaMicrosoftWordtemplate,Createfile...'.Run(PopulateaMicrosoftWordTemplate_XXXXXXX,
PopulateaMicrosoftWordTemplate_YYYYYYY, PopulateaMicrosoftWordTemplate_ZZZZZZZ, etc., etc.)

I'm not really sure how this formula is supposed to work and I'm sure I'm using it incorrectly.

If anyone has any advice as to how to formulate a button using flows I would greatly appreciate it.

The first issue you deal with here is that those actions mean you need a premium license for all users. My work around is; I simply patch some data to an Intermin SP list that has an "When new entry created or modified"  This then triggers a flow based on my license.  I usually have the patch list have a key column that I put an ID into so when it is now triggered I use that ID or whatever to start the Get Items processes from SharePoint to create merge into my Word Doc.  From there I create the PDF etc.  At the end of the flow I delete the original patch record so that list is always empty for the next patch.

I will add that the flow that gets triggered has a switch action.  This allows me use it for many actions in powerapps based on the switch.  So I can have multiple users doing multiple activities etc

Oh no, if every user will need a premium license then my method won't work. I have a premium license but others will not.

I'm very interested in this work-around you mentioned, but I'm new to Automate and having a hard time picturing it, is there a video or link floating around that could explain this more? Maybe what the interim sharepoint list or patch data would look like?

Wow- thank you, I have much better understanding of what I need to do.

I haven't attempted it yet, so I may have some questions, but I had to say first how helpful the responses have been.
