Power Automate Parallel branch conditional NOT working

Hi all,

Not sure if this is intended functionality but here I will insert a screenshot before explaining

The right branch Do Until has a condition where it will only run if variable stopReminder is false.

During run time it clearly shows that the variable has been changed to true via the approval process (left branch) yet I am experiencing Do until being ran, despite the condition NOT being satisfied.

Its a bit weird and I'm not sure how that logically makes sense, does anyone know if automate has any functionalities for checking variable status in real time instead of waiting for a delayed loop for something like this?

Hey @Anonymous 

Not sure what the issue is. But can you try using the field completion date. 

If it's empty, continue sending the reminder and if it is not then the approval is complete.

@Anonymous  There is a section called as Change Limits in the Do Until connector. 
Once you expand the Change limits section, you’ll see 2 parameters – Count and Timeout.

1. Count will be the maximum count the iterations should run in case the value never becomes true.
2. Timeout will take the time duration of how much time the loop should continue to run mentioned in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601(ISO 8601 format).
3. At least one property is mandatory.

Hey all, no direct solution since it seems like this would require the automate to continually run it as if it were a loop to check. I set it up to wait a certain amount of time before checking as well as adding an extra conditional into the Do until loop and that was somewhat of a workaround since it would check before running.
