Power Automate: Submit Microsoft Forms, then directed to SharePoint Excel file

I am trying to create a Power Automate workflow. I created a Microsoft Form that asks for a Purchase Order (PO) number. Once the Microsoft Form is submitted, I want the user to be directed to a SharePoint Excel file. That file should be filtered by the PO number that was entered into the Microsoft Form. Any help would be much appreciated!

what you meant by directed to here  excel file ? does it mean once submitting the form- the excel file should appear before the user with filtered results ? am i right ?

I really appreciate the response! Yes - when Microsoft Form is submitted, the user will be directed to the SharePoint Excel file. That SharePoint Excel file will have a column filtered using the data submitted in the Microsoft Form.

Hi @MSFTQuestions 

Ok - But i think the cloud flow can't direct the user to SharePoint excel , Instead it can notify the excel location via teams/email after filter operation so that you can check using the link and then be able to check the filtered file.

May i know why you need check the excel file manually after filtering for a PO Number, do you need to extract any values out of it ?

I want the SharePoint file to be filtered so the user will only see their Purchase Order (PO) detail. The SharePoint Excel file has PO details for a lot of other POs and I don't want the users to get overwhelmed with the data. I just them to see the data that is relevant to them & their PO.

Sounds not feasible. Unfortunately.

if they want to see only the data needed, can we make the flow to send teams/notification with details of column data required for given PO Number filtered , if that is helpful ?

Ok. So send the user a teams notification that contains the Purchase Order detail? I think that would work. I assume the Teams message would come from me (the creator of the flow).

This is for accounting. So I'm also trying to establish a decent amount of audit documentation for the auditors. I think a Teams message would suffice.

That looks good to me! If they respond in Teams/ elsewhere, will Excel/ other program document their response?

we may have to use some other ways  (like adaptive cards in teams) by which we can show the required table and then be able to document their response back
