Power automate flow to check folder color

Hi, i am currently using a flow in order to create planner task whenever a file is added to the Documents library.

i am checking if the file is folder and then o procced creating the planner item.

i am trying to add one more roe to my condition in order to check folder color and i will also set priorities to the planner task depending on folder's color.

i am able to identify throu rest api that if for exampe a folder is blue ther is an expanded property of "

<d:vti_x005f_colorhex>5</d:vti_x005f_colorhex>

 i have also confirm it through powershell that this is the correct attribute as you can see on the screenshot but i am not able to extract that info using power automate

Any ideas?

Hi @geostylianou 

I don't think color of folder is found as property of any sharepoint API response, based on information which i have received.

next  you initialize a variable fetching data from the http response.

*new update*

Using compose action i managed to parse the required property to a new variable.

I am elaborating:

using compose action with the following query to navigate to the required property inside the json

then use the action initialize a variable and pass the output from the compose action

to make sure the variable has the correct value i sent an email passing the variable to the mail body

and this is the mail i received after creating a blue folder 

color/code panel
