Hi there,

Are you able to show us what the flow looks like? That doesn't look cut off, it looks like the text straight-up didn't come across. There's no "see more.." or anything? Where are you viewing this particular screen?

@Rhiassuring this is not an issue with a flow, but an issue with something Microsoft changed. You can see this by going to past approvals as well. It looks like they decided more information is a bad idea, and decided to summarize the details section of the approvals.

All of this useful information now becomes:

@notj Yes, looks like microsoft truncates the information. even though the current flow does not change at all.

@iamfauzi16 Yep, this is a terrible change.

@notj  i don't know, if i make changes or create new trigger approvals for this. will it fix this problem or not. 🙂 cc @Rhiassuring

I don't think so, because if you look at past approvals before this change they're all affected.

how can this problem be conveyed to microsoft. because I have tried DM via Twitter there is no feedback. 😞

I have also the same problem starting yesterday. a lot of info is hidden and a scroll bar is not available. Half of the frame is not used?

JDK1_0-1674731781384.png

This is used for approval processes but now the approvers can no longer see all details.

Will this be fixed?

If you inspect the details section of the approval sidebar, there is a

<div class="fl-DetailsCard-Section-Body body-525">. The 525 part will be different depending on how much data your details field has. It has a max height of 80. This looks like an unintentional bug. If you change the name of the class, it removes the max height.

@Msft can you take a look at the above?

Oof, this is a pretty big oversight from them, isn't it? Thanks for the updates. I have a feeling MSFT won't be checking into the thread, but, you can report it through Power Automate itself...

Or you can submit it via "Ideas" (ie, "Idea: PUT THINGS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU GUYS!?")  https://ideas.powerautomate.com/  - and then post the link here so we can all vote it up, and others can find it when they search.

Thanks for this feedback. I do not see how end users will be able to change this limit all by themself. this needs to be fixed from the source. Do we already have an idea of when this will all be fixed?

I too am facing the same issue and it is really taking away from the user experience.  We use the details section to provide instructions and links to reports to assist the approver in making informed decisions.

Microsoft, please rollback this change!!

Temporary you can use this script with browser extension "Tampermonkey". It will change weight and height of the frame 🙂

Just change @match position to correct URL.

    if (!head) { return; }
    style = document.createElement('style');
    style.type = 'text/css';
    style.innerHTML = css;
    head.appendChild(style);
}
addGlobalStyle('.body-529 { max-height: 600px !important; }');
addGlobalStyle('.root-527 { width: 250px !important; }');

You changed the URL in line 7 of the code to match the link from your browser? You need to get link from "Approvals" section in PowerAutomate site.

If you did that, maybe check if body-529 and root-527 styles are correct for you. You can check it with right click on site > "Inspect Element" and then finding "DetailsCard-Section-Body" as you can see on screnshoot. When you click on it, in details you will find both styles.
