Removing HTML Text / Code

Hello Everyone,

I need help with something. I made this reminder stuff for my manager. I got all the data from SharePoint Calendar. But then, the output didn't work well as expected. I need to remove this HTML code in my Description column, because my manager don't wanna see it.

So I was wondering if I could remove this HMTL from description column? 

Here is my flow in case you guys need it

Hi @Anonymous ,

The HTML to text action could achieve your needs. 

Add a "Html to text" action, Content field set to Description dynamic content of the trigger.

It will return the output to plain text and then use you use this output inside Create HTML table.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried your method.

Just a quick question. Can I use this "HTML to Text" action without using "Apply to Each"? 

Because whenever I want to try this flow, its getting an error message. It's really confuses me right now.

Or is there something wrong with my flow?

Hello @Anonymous ,

You don't have to delete the Apply to each loop. 

Instead use the Select action inside this loop after Convert HTML to text action .

Hey I am having trouble with something of the sort, this may work for One item. What if I have multiple columns in sharepoint that have HTML to be converted to text? How do I go about that?

I have the same issue as the original poster but I don't see how this helps? Could you expand on this to we can see how you would get the data into a table and sent via email with everything rendered properly. For example in your select how are you mapping, ultimately we would need all the data from the list mapped so we can create the table in the next step.

But this still has an issue where if any tags with ><div style="box-sizing:border-box;"> this is still not replaced. so any help really appeciate.
