Some of the connections are not authorized yet

We have a flow that connects to our Project Request form in Forms.  The user that created the flow is on vacation and his connection has become invalid (not sure why that happened).

I went into the flow, added a new connection for my account and selected it.  In the flow, it looks like the connection works as the Form ID shows and the "invalid connection" warning triangle goes away.  But when I try to save the Flow, I get the following message:

Some of the connections are not authorized yet.
If you just created a workflow from a template, please click Continue to add the
authorized connections to your workflow before saving.
What exactly does this mean and how can we resolve it?  If I go Setting->Connections, my connections are all there.  They're all connected, including my Forms connection.  There's no option to authorize anything.  There is no reset password link (which I found in some posts).  I tried deleting the connection and re-adding it, still the same problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this or context around what it actually means?

It turns out that further down in the flow, there are actions that use the response from the form.  Those needed updating too, but there was no indication of an issue until you clicked down into the high-level conditions.

Hi @maciep,

It seems that you have created a new connection using your own account and credentials.

Please try to create a new flow with the new connection to see if it will work.

Which environment are you in? I am considering that when the flow creator is on a vacation, the flow will lose authentication during his off hours (down time).

Best regards,

Mabel Mao

I can try to create a flow to see I can connect to forms, but I definitely don't want to replace the existing flow with a new one.  Everyone on the team has access to flow so that we can modify it as needed...at least that was the original plan.

Also, I would hope that somebody being on vacation doesn't have this effect.  His account is still valid.  The flow should still run with that account.  I think this happens from time to time when he is here as well, but he's able to reconnect his account to fix it.

Like others have mentioned, these o365 apps don't seem enterprise-ready yet, which is disappointing.

I was able to create a flow that connects to the same form with my account.  But the Team flow still won't let me choose my account, giving the same message from the original post.

This is what solved it for me. An associated Google account got the ID changed by adding a GMail account. The error was only obvious at the top of the flow. Opening up each stage showed where I had to choose the new GMail address again to finally get this working again. Luckily I only pulled out some of my hair, and not all of it.

It is extremely upsetting to see that this is still a thing. Why would going on vacation invalidate a connection unless the user's password expired? Why would you force the creator of the app to go back and manually select the connection if it becomes disconnected, without providing them an easy way of identifying each action that needs to be reauthenticated? Are you seriously telling me I need to manually find each of the 50 different actions that require a connection within each of my scopes & conditions every time I get disconnected like this? That's absolutely insane.

I checked the Send email connection and found the people added there were not authorized. Just had to re-sign in to their accounts and it fixed it

@Joso sent me on the right direction.
I had a mail connection to 365. That user/service account was new and had never been signed in, presumably doing this plays a key role. I did nothing in PowerAutomate, just signed in with that user (outlook.office.com). Works for me now.

Great to hear, it helped.

It is really sad MS have such a bad product. As developer we should be able to automate the repeating procedure and focus on creation. However most of our time is wasted on clicking the actions, expand the box and update it manually. 90% of my time is doing repeating process.
