Hi! I have a flow where I have to substring a specific data from the file name also have a master list of data the compares who employee that has this employee number. My concern is that my condition always result to false, I'm trying to equal it on the substring that I did. Your response is highly appreciated, Thank you!

Em.. So i think you may need to check the output for your "Get files properties 2" action in your run history why it return 4 items ?

What is this action return in your run history in a loop? Dose it return the needed file to created or just return the all the files , in your filter , you keep the file's substring with the "_EC".

So , it will cause it create all the file's substring with the "_EC" to your new folder?

So the return value is in the compose 3 I've sent earlier, It return the document type which is _EC. How do I stop creating the file to the folder not supposed to be there?

 For your needs, I think you want to get the corresponding files to the corresponding folders, then the obtained files here should match the name of the folder you created. I think there's also a need to add a filter for filenames?

And for your screenshot , it return 4 files which contains "_EC" , So it will loop 4 times, and the file will be created each time, even if your folder name is based on your previous criteria. I think you need to add a judgment every time you create a loop for a file, and you can only create it if the conditions are met.

The file name is below example, so it would be change based on the next of underscore. What condition should i add? I already tried the condition if the folder name is starting with the personnel number of the existing file, if true, it would create the file in that folder

Thanks for your quick response! Sorry for that it is hard to me to directly get the issue in your flow. But i create a sample flow to you .

This is my test folder with the files :

For example , i will copy them to another folder "TestFolder" folder with the file number.

And you may not need to create the folder, As for the create file action, if the folder is not exist , it will create this folder.

Thanks for your response! According to your screenshot , you can see in your Apply to each , the nested actions both do not execute in it :

You need to check you the value in your Apply to each to loop if it is just a blank array ?

You can check if your "Get files" action return blank in your run history?

Good day, sorry the thread gone too long. The flow runs successfully, but it still keeps on moving the wrong personnel number file in the folder, also it creating random folders.

One final question, How do i insert the employee name on the folder? So folder name should be like this
