Support for SharePoint Document Library Properties

Hi,

I found a flow on a blog posted back in August 2017, Support for SharePoint Document Library Properties SP Document Library

I thought great I would like to give this a go, as I use a Library where I want to email a document owner of any updated or documents created.

I followed the step to step guide, but the workflow does not work, I get an error message shown below.

Hi @ClaireAllen

At the Initial stage your error picture shows that your Action which is Sending an email to the person is Failing in the flow

and also bottom box shows that there are more than one values are coming there in the send an email action.

but in my flow i can send email to the 10 people, so i am not sure about your Scenario please can you share your flow Screenshots so i or Any one else can give you suggestion.

Thank you for the reply,

I have put a screen shot of my flow, I think it may have something to do with the Document Owner, but I would like to email them if a document has been modified or created by someone else.

Any suggesions would be greatfully received.

Hi @ClaireAllen,

As per My knowledge i think one Small Change can be helpfull to Complete your Flow.

First of all lets Confirm the Scenario

1. When item Created or Modified
2. you have to Inform the Creator of the Item.
3. but there is a condition that if the Creator of the item is the Modifier of the Item than only you have to send an Email.

if this is the Perfect Scenario of your Flow than you just have to Change the value in "Send an Email" Action.

Please change the Value Send an email to "Created By email id". and all the Other things same as you have filled.

please find the Attached both Images.

now change only the One Field "TO" set dynamic value "Created By Email " in both Action for Send an Email.

Made the adjustment, re-tested the flow and it works.
