"Apply To Each" template action execution Failed.

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask the community for some assistance here regarding a problem I have when executing my flow.

Basically, the flow I have is 3 x "Start & wait for Approval" and 3 x "Do Until" loops to send out a reminder if the Approver has not yet approved of the request which was submitted and a few conditions in-between all of this. 

A brief rundown of the process is as follows, a request is submitted for an order, this will create a new item in my SharePoint list, Approver1 will receive an email asking them to approver the request, if they approve it then Approver2 will receive an email asking them to approve the request and then Approver3 will be asked the same, in that hierarchy manner. At any time if one of the  Approvers reject a request then the list will update the "Approve or Reject" status and the flow should have been executed successfully.

So, right at the end of my flow, I would like to update my list in SharePoint online with the outcome, however when Approver2 rejects the request made, my flow runs in to an error in the last "Apply to Each"  -->  "Update Item" . Also this last "Apply to Each" in my flow, power automate has inserted automatically but that's not posing any issues at the moment I think.

what is inside your last "Apply to each"?

@Electr0Nucleu5  you are using outcome from non executed branch (in your case it is 3rd approver condition Yes block) in the Apply to each Which is null by default. Please check your flow logic.

Hi @anibra, the last "Apply to Each" contains an "Update Item" so that it can update that item in my SharePoint list.

Hi @Electr0Nucleu5 ,

looks like you are trying to update a value with the outcome from Start_and_wait approval(Step 3) which is null. This value cannot be null. If I understood right your flow logic you want just to update a status if one of the approvers approved. So you can just check if any of the 3 approvals outcome was approve update your status

Thank you that makes sense, I re arranged the last "Apply to Each" in my flow to be inside of the (Start_and_wait approval(Step 3) "YES" block), this resolved the issue I was having.
