AAD User Table Empty

My AAD User Table is empty. I can search through Users when I go to the Azure Active Directory admin center, but can't get the AAD User Table to show anything in my Power Platform environment. I imagine this has something to do with permissions, but don't know which permissions are required to access the AAD User virtual table in my environment, does anyone have an idea?

The next thing to check is if the users have access to Graph (this is needed for AAD User data). Here is a document detailing this: Authorization and the Microsoft Graph Security API - Microsoft Graph | Microsoft Learn

Specifically note: 

• If you're using user delegated authorization, the user must be a member of the Security Reader or Security Administrator Limited Admin role in Azure AD.

The delegated permissions are used for the AAD User table through Power Apps.

I am having this same issue, where the AAD users table is not showing the users, instead it show the same error message shared previously saying "Oops! Something went wrong" no additional information. Started happening in one environment and then later started happening on multiple.

Hi @Ign, have you verified that the users trying to access the data have access to AAD and are members of the appropriate user groups per my Graph comment above?

The users had no initial problem with accessing this table, it just started happening about a week ago in one environment and then after checking other environments, through different users it was still showing up. No changes were made, that they were aware of.

One thing we noticed is the environment that is having the issues, the ADD_Users table has a lot of dependencies versus the environments where it loads without issue.

I have checked whether the users have access to the users list in the azure active directory admin center, to check whether it was a credentials problem and they confirmed they can see the users list with no problem. Is this uncommon?

I think at this point opening a case with support may be best so they can evaluate the current configuration for your org and users.

Hi all, I had the same problem as many of those above. After some great work by Vishal at Microsoft Support, the problem has been resolved.

A couple of things to check before you go down the support route:

• Check that you users have permission to view the data on the table. Make sure they have a security role assigned that has Organisation Read permission on the AAD User table
• Check that there are no active unmanaged layers on the AAD User table

If the above steps do not resolve your problem, contact support as they will need to run a script to fix the connection between Dataverse and the AAD User table. Once this was done, the table was populated data straight away.
