Check if Selected Date and Time in form exists in Dataverse Entity

Hallo, i got stuck and a bit stumped, whilst building my app in PowerApps. The goal of it would be, that people could select a room from the available ones (currently 3, each with different sizes) and so to say, lay claim on that room for a duration of time, based on a pair of date and time picker options on a form.  The rooms are in the similarly named table Rooms, while the appointments are in a different table called Meetings. On the form, i'm using a dropdown menu to select from the available rooms, the start time is saved in a Dataverse column StartTime, while the end of the time is stored in EndTimes. The issue i'm facing, is that i would like to check, if the chosen or selected date exists in the dataverse or not, if it does, disable the submit button otherwise allow the user to submit the request. An another thing that would later be important, is the case if a room is set from active to inactive or vice versa, as i think, that filtering the rooms by their ID's and sticking appointments to them would be a better solution, than to look for them by names. Is this doable, with simple resources, so to say, using Power Apps canvas app and Dataverse as data source?

You can use Filter Query to achieve the same.

Consider 

In Dataverse:

Table Name : Account

Filed : Start Date

Status : Choice( Active,Inactive)

In PowerApps:

Field : Date Time

Query to Use:

Onchange of Date Field

Set(checkStartDateAlreadyExists,Filter(Account,And(StartDate=StartDateTime.Selected,Choices(Status).Active)

Visible On Save:

if(CountRows(checkStartDateAlreadyExists)>0,false,true)

Hope i am not asking a dumb question, but would it also work if the Format property of the Date selectors (where the user can chose the year-month-day) are set to be "yyyy.mmmm.dd"? It is because i'd like to display the dates based on the Hungarian standard (year first, then month followed by day).

I tried to use the formula you've given me, but i got an Invalid arguaments error that is shown on the attached image.
Do you think it might be because of the table names?
Accounts table for me, on display name in CDS shows Foglalásoks
Start Date = Kezdés Időpontja
End Date = Befejezés Időpontja
As for the Status, i has it saved in an ActiveTerem titled column, where the choices name or label is ActiveTeremChoices (this is the one where i can put a dot at the end, and get either the Aktív or Inaktív choice.)
