Dataverse Offline First - Problems with Patching records in general and with Filtering in Lookup columns

I'm starting to explore the new Dataverse Offline First feature but I couldn't get it working properly. The app works just fine when I'm in the preview play or playing on the browser, but it does not behave the same when on mobile,not even when connected to the internet. 

The first problem was occurring when Patching records.

So my first question is:

     1 - Is it possible at all to use Patch with Offline First or does it only work with Forms through SubmitForm? If it's possible, is there anything different that I have to do?

The second problem I'm facing is when trying to filter data in a Lookup column. I was trying first with a regular text column, then I also tried with the GUID column and primary name column, none of the seems to work. It show the error "Error when trying to retrieve data from the network".
So, second question?

     2 - Is it possible at all to filter on Lookup columns with Dataverse Offline First? If yes, how do I do it?

Just some details about things I've already set up:

- All the tables have the 'Can be taken Offline' on

- I've created all the relationships needed

- I've tried with auto-generate offline profile and also with one that I configured myself, trying "all" the possible configurations regarding witch records to load, including All Rows for all the tables.

- And recapping, the app works just fine on preview or on the browser, but it does work on mobile neither online or offline.

I couldn't find any details in the documentation, so I appreciate any help I can get.

Did you manage to solve the issue? I am also having similar issue with PowerApps offline. 

I am checking user role based on the Team they belong to. While this works online, once I try to access from PowerApps Mobile, or PowerApps Desktop App, it gives weird behavior. It sets all roles to be true instead of setting only the user team role to true

Currently, the problem I have with power apps offline is when I try to use Filter or AddColumns on a LookUp column. Although the documentation says it is possible, it will give an error if I use any of these functions on any collumn other than the Unique Identifier or Primary Key (primary key is different from primary name).

Inspecting the Monitor I found out this will generate a network getrows with a request url that has the term "expand" in it, and anytime the request url has "expand" it will give an error "Could not retrieve data from the network".

I think microsoft has made a lot of changes since this topic was raised. So, I'm not sure these are the same issues I was facing back then.

Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, I was not able to get mine to work. I had to use SaveData and LoadData to Cache User Role. My situation was more like a limitation which was specified on the documentation. 

Many-To-Many relationship is not supported in offline mode hence we can't really use Team group to handle User Role in offline enabled app since it has many-many relationship with the User Table. I just hope Many-To-Many will be supported someday. That will be a game Changer.
