Edit CDS form not loading

I have logged a ticket with Support on this, but so far, no response received.... let alone an answer.

When editing a main Form from an entity, I intermittently get the spinning loading icon in the middle of the screen, as per the attachment. I have left this for an hour and no change. I have tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox) but to no avail. 

Has anyone else experienced this?

It's good you logged a ticket on this issue, I think this will require further investigation with network traces as it can be caused by multiple reasons. Please have the steps clear to reproduce the issue so when you are contacted by the support team, you can provide all of the information needed to check on the issue and provide some information on it.

Hi,

SLA on most cases is less then 8 business hours so they should be reaching out to you soon or early tomorrow. Since this is an intermittent issue this will be difficult to troubleshoot. It will be important to grab timestamps of the issue and to be ready to grab a trace of the issue the next time it comes up. I'll include my instruction document on how to get a trace, if you can grab one asap you should be able to avoid any blockers on your side.

Hi @Graham,

Try to switch to classic, edit the form there, save and Publish. Then retry to re-open the form in Maker portal again. If that doesn't work and it doesn't do it for other entity forms, then I would simply delete that form and rebuild it.

Thank you @EricRegnier - I have tried that, however it does not resolve the situation. Because it is an intermittent problem, it's not just one form either.

Thanks for confirming @Graham. Besides waiting for your Microsoft support ticket. It can also be your organisation's firewall or proxy. Have a try connecting through a public network like at home or via your mobile your Azure AD is not restricted.

We do not have a proxy server and firewall should not stop the form from loading. What I have discovered, is that I often need to 'switch to classic', close the tab, switch to classic again, close, then the edit form will load. Very strange indeed.
