Having an issue importing a Spreadsheet into Dataverse

I was hoping somebody could help with an issue I am having importing data into Dataverse from an Excel Spreadsheet.

The Spreadsheet has been configured with a table and there is only one sheet in it.  However everytime I try to to click the upload button, and the document has been selected, I get an error "The host is unknown".

The Environment was renamed via the interface to make it more user friendly but it appears the host name it is looking for is the original environment name.  I attempted to rename the environment again but this had no effect.

I have also created a new Environment and went through the same process to rename it, and uploading the spreadsheet works perfectly well in that one, the only difference between the two environments is the new one I created was Sandboxed, rather than being a Production environment.

Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Hello, @UK_JohnG, as best practice to load data from Excel to Dataverse, to created your Dataverse Tables and use the DataFlows to load the Data. I have this Full Tutorial for how to accomplish this.

Hi @AhmedSalih thank you for your answer, unfortunately I have licensing issues around that approach so it's not really a viable option.  I am really looking for an answer as to why this has happened, so I don't make the same mistake again and also what I can do to resolve the situation I now find myself in.

@UK_JohnG, to better understand the issue, would you please share some screenshots for how you import the Excel files. There are multiple ways you can do this and I am not sure which one you are using.

@UK_JohnG You can try using the import template. Get the import template and fill with data and try importing.
