How to display AAD info

I have a requestor form. I'm letting the user select their name in an Lookup field connected to AAD. After the record is saved, I have the view displaying the requestor name and when they click the name it opens another form with the requser name. Unfortunately, it doesn't display anything but the name. I'd like to show the requestor email and business phone. I created a form for the AAD table (inside this project's solution) but that isn't the form that gets displayed when the user opens the requestor. Where or how, should I be doing this?

If you are using a model driven app then you'd need to edit the Main form of AAD User to add the mail and business phone number there.

One you save and publish the form and refresh the app on the front end then this should achieve your objective.

 

However, I would have done things differently though. I would edit the 'Quick View' form (in the first screenshot above) to include mail and business phone on that form first.

I would then add that quick view form on the table where you have the Requester lookup. 

 

In my example, I have added the Requester Lookup column (looking up to AAD User table) on the Account form. Underneath the Requester column, I added that quick view form that I edited above.

Once I save and publish the form, this is how the Account form looks on the front end:

and once the AAD User is selected in the Requester column, it automatically comes up with the related details of that AAD User in a read-only quick-view form underneath, thereby making this info readily available for the users so that they don't have to navigate away to AAD User table to look for AAD User's emial or phone number.

This has been super helpful, thank you!! Question:

 

I need to pull email addresses from our MS Entra ID table into my main form. However, I have not been able to do so since it is not the primary column in that table. I then found your solution & it now works perfectly!!

 

But how can I get that email field added to my main table so the form can be forwarded to that email address for approval? I'm not a developer but hopefully there is an easy way to do it. Thank you!

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
