Developing an app in teams, my app is based on table which I created within Teams.
I am trying to restrict user from entering duplicate email address in the customer info table, therefore, was trying to implement Key option (which I saw in a video post of power app) but could not find the same option in the teams table.
Below are the 2 images one from the Teams Table properties view and another from PowerApp Teams table property.
Please guide where to find the same option in the teams table, incase this is not allowed option, then guide how to overcome the situation for avoiding duplicate entry.
Please note in the below property i cannot see the Key option.

DataVerse for teams (DV4T) does support alternate keys, but working with them is just abstract/hidden. There are 2 ways to create an alternate key
- directly on the table, as you are trying to do in your screenshot, and
- indirectly using a dataflow, a one-time-only chance at the time of table creation if you specify "Load to a new table".
For the direct method, you must open your environment in the maker portal/browser, you can't work with keys within the editor in Teams. If you don't know what I am referring to...
- on the build tab in Teams select your environment/team name, and then click the ellipses next to the team name in the main window, and click the "Open in Power Apps" option
- In the browser, open your solution (if you are using one), or otherwise your table is probably in the default solution.
In the browser, expand your table and choose one of the existing child nodes e.g. "Columns". Then in the address bar edit the URL and replace the last part of the URL (e.g. "/fields") with "/keys".
Click the new key button and configure. Note this still does not add the "Keys" node to the table; if you want to add or delete keys, you have to edit the URL.

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge! This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks. The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.
