Power Automate flow error: Data events are not enabled for this virtual table. VirtualEntityMetadata configuration is missing.

On Triggering the Power Automate flow to " notify about CRUD operations in Dataverse " on Teams or sending a notification via Outlook gives the following error :

"Data events are not enabled for this virtual table. VirtualEntityMetadata configuration is missing."

I have seen the documentation for Virtual Entity MetaData configuration but to no help.

Any leads to this issue will be really appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. You have to enable the virtual entity metadata. The below MSFT Doc explains how to do this through a solution. Please mark solved or ask for more details.

Hi Thomas , 

thank you for your quick support but I already tried following the steps before posting this issue . The first step itself in document is quiet confusing as what is this People entity being created and when you click on New we never see the options as mentioned in the document. 
it would be more helpful if you could explain me the first step itself or could share some other link .

Just for your reference I cannot see the same screen as shown in Microsoft document but rather the following screens as attached.

That people entity is just an example table that they are creating to show how it can be setup for CUD events.

The link to create the new "Virtual Entity Metadata" record for this table is actually buried further deeper within the "New" menu bar (as shown here by navigating the options in the black boxes):

This will pop up a new record where you can enter any name, and link to the entity that you wish to register for CUD events.

Using their example, imagine you've created an entity with the schema name "new_people", when you create a new Virtual Entity Metadata record, you put in any name, but in the Extension Entity Id lookup field enter "new_people" and it should find the virtual entity called Person. For example I've created a virtual entity called "Virtual Invoice" and the schema name could be "new_VirtualInvoice" (Schema name would also be the name field  in the example in the original link but this also appears as the "Schema Name" when you view the properties of a table you have already created)

Now I can search for that specific virtual entity as shown below when using the schema name "new_VirtualInvoice" (I've scrubbed out the prefix of the table name in the example below)

Yes I understood that People is just a example table but i cannot see the same options under my Menu bar. Just for the reference I am pasting below the screenshot . As you can see the New button is disabled. And I am getting that warning message . I tried working on the warning message but no luck.

I would really appreciate if you could help here. May be this is the blocker

You're trying to add components to an existing managed solution, which isn't allowed. The yellow banner you highlight already explains that you're trying to edit a managed solution which isn't allowed.

you should just create a new solution for your own stuff, and then you will be able to create and add any components to it.

Is there any way to convert a managed solution into unmanged solution apart from creating altogether a new solution?

No, but you can just add the same components to your own solution and customize them as you wish
