Solution Import failed: The given key was not present in the dictionary

I have an unmanaged solution in a Dev environment and managed solution in Test environment.

After that I made some changes like creating new entities and adjust model driven app in the unmanaged solution, and want to reimport this as managed solution to Test environment. and I am facing the following error when importing to Test environment: 

Import failed: The given key was not present in the dictionary

There was no enough information which components are causing the error in error log.

How can I track the error and overcome this?

I would start by opening the solution zip and taking a look at Solution.xml

This file enumerates all your major solution components and any dependencies they have that are unresolved. The dependencies section will be at the end of the xml and will be a collection of nodes that look something like this:

 This example says that the form, "My Main Form" has a dependency on an html web resource called "new_myHtml.htm" and that new_myHtml is found in a managed solution called myManagedSolution, BUT, this solution zip does not have the html, so will fail if you try to import it.

The "given key not present" error you are seeing is probably happening downstream from the dependency validation, but regardless this is always the right place to start when you have solution import issues, so take a look at the xml and see if you can spot any unresolved dependencies that might be causing you issues.

Thank you for your comment. it helps. I can find this on my end. Appreciate if you could help to suggest how to fix it. I have added all required field into solution, but still seeing the same error.

Nope. I don't think either one of these is your problem. What they're saying is that you have a custom table (emcc_EMCCChemicalPricingAdmin) for which you never set icons, so it needs the default ones from the base system. I mean, it is technically possible this could be a problem but so wildly unlikely that I wouldn't waste time trying to track it down. That said, if you wanted to all you would need to do is go to your target org and confirm that the solution "AppModuleWebResources (2.5)" is properly installed there.

Yeah, your problem is elsewhere. I would try importing again and see if you can download the full error report. The csv might have more detail for you.
