numbers don't import correctly

I am importing an excel table into a Dataverse table. one of the columns is numbers, for example: 

225632

248848

248849

for some reason when they are read by the List Rows Present in Table Action in the Flow they are changed to:

162944

162331

158494

why is this column not being read correctly?

Hi @biconix1,

There can be several reasons like:

1. The import is failing to update/.insert the records. Have you checked the raw data (not within the flows) to see if the rows were actually set with the correct numbers? You can check directly in the Maker portal --> Tables --> pick your table --> the data will be in the grid below --> add the number columns and sort by created on desc. Also, you can check the result of the import via the Power Platform Admin Portal (aka.ms/ppac) --> Environments --> Pick your env --> Click Settings in the command bar --> Expand Data Management and click on "Data Import Wizard". Open the last import and check for any failure or warnings
   
2. Issue with the flow logic - perhaps the List Rows filtering is not correct or it's not selecting the right columns. Can you share more details and possibly screenshots?

I am not sure I understand your questions. If you are asking if i checked the source excel file's column values - yes i did. The rest of the row's data are correct. Only this ID number is incorrect. i also checked the resulting data in the Dataverse and it is incorrect. not only is it incorrect i get a duplicate key error (this column is defined as an alternate key in the dataverse table) on many of the rows.

Hi @biconix1, apologies for the delayed response. I was asking if you checked the data directly in Dataverse and it seems you did. I'm confused with the screenshot. The List Row is from SharePoint is this where your Excel file is hosted? Are you using a flow to import into Dataverse, if not what method are you using to import? Cheers

yes, the Excel file is hosted in Sharepoint and I am using a Flow to import it to the Dataverse

Hi @biconix1, it's hard to investigate without a lot of details. There could be many reasons. My recommendation is to try to isolate the problem. Try to rule out SharePoint and host the file in Onedrive, rule out Dataverse table and import into a new clean table, etc.

i created a different unique field that i am incrementing myself with a counter and am ignoring the imported field. problem solved.....
