New Power FX formula bar

Hey guys.
I've been testing the new formula bar and it looks great.
However, I noticed that when we define formulas in the Formulas property, the app automatically removes them when selecting a screen or selecting another App property.
Following information:

Steps to recreate:
1 - Enable Named Formulas;

2 - Enable new Power FX formula bar
3 - Add formula in Formula property
3 - Select screen or other property

TAB no longer seems to indent inside the formula bar nor can it be used to quickly select an IntelliSense option -- new formula bar is completely unusable atm

Seems to be a case-by-case basis, I have Maker Studio open in several tabs for several apps I'm working on at the same time. Can use tab as intended on one Maker Studio instance, but can't in another. I'm using Microsoft Edge inside a workspace running Windows 11.

@ngohw  Thanks for reporting it. Can you provide the session id the next time it happens? Multiple people have faced this unexpectedly and we are actively looking into it and it is prioritized on our end. Was it working fine and recently stopped working? This question would help us if newer studio version caused this or not

was working fine before recent update, only started happening -- i don't have the functionality of being able to resize formula bar by dragging it, either. I am based in the UK so my maker studio version is still 23123. dev environment is 2023 release wave 2. I'll be sure to get session ID next time it happens

By any chance, Were you using modern controls in one of the apps where tab wasn't working?

Yep, modern controls was enabled and being used in the app. I also have received dragging functionality, so I'll let you know if I have any issues with it.

Any chance of adding the 'expand formula bar' button back in while keeping drag functionality?

Thanks for confirming that. We are working on a fix for Tab issue and should roll out soon. I am curious to know why you would want to keep the old expand button. Is having a third option (drag and the expand/collpase icon in the right corner) to resize formula bar an ideal experience?

I tend to work in very long formulas and having a big shiny button to immediately expand to the maximum possible height rather than finding the small height pixel window to drag my formula bar down manually is a lot quicker -- I can see the appeal with dragging, but I think there was real value in having the 'Expand formula bar' button, especially when going in and out between controls that have long formulas. Having both functionalities if possible would be best of both worlds!

Here's a visual bug I found with the drag functionality, if you drag it all the way to the bottom, press the close arrow, then open the arrow again, if you're working with a long variable (in this instance, Host.BrowserUserAgent) you can no longer drag the formula bar unless you close the bar and manually drag it again.

I am currently on Microsoft Edge with vertical tabs permanently visible, working on 2560x1440 monitor resolution.

Hey, there; by 'attachments control', I assume you are referring to the File Attachments control created for forms created from lists? Could you share some more screenshots? Thank you!
