Failed to save?

Hi all,

Whenever editing a components code in the code editor, it fails to save.
Couple of days ago this worked fine when i was testing how to use liquid tags, but today when i tried to modify the code, it just wont save.

Any idea how to fix this?

it doesn't show any message regarding what type of error it is, whenever i click save, it shows that it's doing some process and then besides the code editor extender just says Save failed like in the screenshot.

Is there some way of maybe checking the logs that i don't know of?

Actually whenever i go through the same process of clicking the save button but afterward clicking back in the preview it shows me the following error:

When hovering on the "Save Failed" icon does it show the message?

have you tried different browsers?

is you HTML valid?

there is another way as well to make changes to your web page

go to make.powerapps.com --> apps --> portal management app 

navigate to the Web Pages entity --> find the localized/content Web Page and make your changes there

There's no pop up error when i hover over the icon.
I tried a different browser, issue still persists.

Then i checked the portal managment HTML code editor, which i didn't know about, thanks for telling me.
and the HTML code in that one was all over the place, which is weird because in the portal studio the code looked good.

I'm going to fix the code, and then see if that fixes the issue.

Fixing the code in portal managment app fixed the issue.
But, when i go back and check the code again it changes to code again where it appends anchor links and other previously deleted code.
I'm guessing its not meant to be likes this.

my suggestion would be managing the code via Portal Management App, you can also save your code in your source control to keep track of any changes

if you keep your code in Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code you can also make sure your code is always indented

that error message looks like a possible bug in the Portal Studio, I guess you could raise a Support Ticket if you want
