Dependent Assembly - Missing Option in PluginRegistrationTool

Update: I believe the issue is that this feature requires the organization be at 9.2.22064.00044 and my organization (which is in North America) is at 9.2.22063.00196. I've posted a comment on GitHub asking to add this to the preview documentation.

In PluginRegistrationTool.exe there should be a drop-down option from Register called Register New Package. That option is not showing for me.

I've pulled the latest from NuGet. I've confirmed that the version I have running matches the version in the NuGet package on NuGet explorer: https://nuget.info/packages/Microsoft.CrmSdk.XrmTooling.PluginRegistrationTool/9.1.0.153

Explorer says the AssemblyFileVersion is 9.0.0.9658. That matches what I see in the about screen in the tool.

I deleted and reinstalled the tool from NuGet, just to be sure I had the latest.

Yes, if the issue is the org version - which I think it is - then those of us in North America, Europe, and some soverign cloud regions will have to wait until Friday morning, as our organizations should be updated by 11 AM UTC on July 29th. For US Eastern that will be 7 AM on July 29th. For European organizations it should be done by 3 AM UTC which will be 5 AM CEST.

Just fyi, Europe tenants (well at least crm4 tenants) should be on 9.2.22064.00200 now, just had a run through to see how this would work in principle, and the menu buttons appear for me on the same version of the Plugin Registration tool

Good to know! The update to crm4 organizations went out earlier than shown online.

In the video in the blog the presenter shows updating a flag in appsettings.json (that sits alongside the pluginregistration tool).  Toggling that flag allows me to see the Add Package menu item in PRT.

The version of the prt shipped yesterday (.154+ ) has this feature enabled by default now. 
you should no longer need to use the feature setting to enable it.
