Flownaut Appreciation
I am sure that you have seen a little "Super Hero" symbol by the user name of some Flow community members like @AlanPs1, @gamoraes , @MarkStokes, and @ScottShearer. This symbol signifies a Flownaut! If you see this symbol, it means that these Flow community members have been dedicated to consistently providing the best help and support to other members within the community. Super User status is not something that is simply awarded to community members with the most blog article views or the most twitter followers. The Super Users of the Flow community have truly earned the right to call themselves Flow Community ROCKSTARS!
This is because they are the ones who are out there helping any & all community members find solutions to their issues. These community rockstars are simply giving back to the great community that each of them has received endless amounts of tips and help from themselves. They regularly find time in their schedules to come and answer questions, provide accepted solutions, and guide community members in the right direction to solving their issues while building and using Flows. These are truly the role-model community members that are truly helping to keep this place running as good as it does because the community would be an even better place if we could all spend even a fraction of the amount of time that these Flownauts spend contributing back to this community.
Do not be mistaken, however; this dedication to giving back is recognized and regularly rewarded by Microsoft. Learn more about becoming a Flow Community Super User here!
GPS Triggered Flows
There has recently been a trigger added in Flow. The Location trigger is now in (Preview) for Flow. This means that we can now start easily building Flows that are triggered once a user enters or exits a pre-defined geo-fenced location. I know that many people can instantly think of a couple of great use cases for this new trigger. "Auto-Track My Work Hours Based on Location", "Auto-Alert me when the customer has entered the premises", "Easily track event attendees locations", etc!
I am going to showcase a few of the cool use cases that I have found recently and then I want YOU to submit one as a reply to this blog article if you have a good use case to share with the community! 😁
Please share a use case/scenario idea if you have one!
Thanks for Reading! 😁✌
