Using Microsoft Flow to Approve Batches of Tweets

So first, you'll have to have some kind of Tweet automation in place that uses a spreadsheet already. Click here to read my article to find out how to set up Twitter automation FOR FREE using Microsoft Flow, Excel, Teams, and AtBot (Formerly Bizzy). Once you've got your batch Tweet scheduling system set up, I'm sure you'll be somewhat familiar with how to create a Flow and connect it to your accounts. Let's jump right into it:

First, create a OneDrive for Business trigger that will start running your Flow every time a file is uploaded to a specific folder:

Now select the correct file folder, my folder is titled "Tweet Approval" for simplicity:

Now comes the Approval step. Create a "Start an Approval" action and fill it out with the correct details for your approval. This approval is going to my boss, who is inside my organization, so all I had to do was grab the link from the OneDrive file and use that as my "Item Link" in the approval step:3.PNG

After he approves or denies it, I'll need to know the results, so I'll create an action to send myself a mobile notification to tell me whether or not the batch of Tweets has been approved so that I can move forward with either posting or editing the batch:

I hope this simple How-To is useful to those who are in need of creating a simple approval step to add efficiency and help remove the possibility of errors! I know this Flow will especially come in hand when there is specific content that needs to be added or changed within the batch of Tweets because before this, I'd have to stop the batch and add the new Tweets and restart the Flow!

Thanks for reading!
