Random 2 min and 5 second delay in UI element flow

I have a very simple flow to open calculator app and click 1 + 1 =

MatteCrystal_0-1614805087644.png

The app opens immediately but the Click UI element portion doesn't execute until 2 min and 5 seconds pass.

The run delay for each step is set to 100ms so that shouldn't be an issue

MatteCrystal_1-1614805189233.png

The application launch code also is set to continue immediately

MatteCrystal_2-1614805272190.png

I have no idea why this delay is happening or why it's exactly 2min 5sec

I tried manually opening the calculator and then clicking to run the flow starting from step 2 but got the same result. It worked after a 2min 5sec delay.

NOTE: ---------------------------
This same issue seems to occur for all flows I make that make use of UI elements.

Version: 2.5.39.21056 (should be latest downloaded today)

Hi,

It is very strange; I have a same version as yours, but it works well for me. Same steps and it finished in seconds.

Thanks and hope it can help you.

so what you've done is slightly different. That said I just tried again via the press button in window method and got the same result. A long random pause before finishing up.

That said both methods seem take a random amount of time. (not just 2min 5 sec) It was consistently that before but now it's taking 4+ mins.

I've tried restarting my computer but no improvements. I'm fully getting my pc up to date with all windows updates now and will report if that fixes anything.

Windows updates didn't seem to help.

So my new idea is could it be something to do with how PAD is connected to my MS account?

I noticed if I go to the power automate via website and look under desktop flows it shows none of the three I've made.

I signed into the same account for both using the same email. Both auto populated my real name which is attached to my account so I would assume no issues there. However, my MS icon is

MatteCrystal_3-1614875111808.png

But clicking on my account inside PAD shows this

MatteCrystal_4-1614875163618.png

so does the PAD just not show your account profile Icon or could this be a sign something is messed up with how it linked to my account?

I'm using a personal MS account and I've only ever used the default environment. No teams or sharing of anything has been done.

I started using PAD a week ago. but yesterday I started getting this weird behavior, as well. At first I thought it just wasn't working, but then I saw this article, so today I let it run for a while and it is taking 2+ minutes to do many of the tasks. Not good. I'm very frustrated.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it's working fine now. Seems microsoft needs to squash this bug

let me know if it starts having a long delay in the coming days. What I noticed is it seems to have a random but consistent delay. As in each day or maybe each pc reboot, it will have a new random delay time  say 5 mins one day and 2 mins another day. But all runs that day will be consistent.

There was one time I had like a 2-3 sec delay but it's no longer like that.

I also tried a fresh install of windows recently but I still have this issue.

Another user had the same issue and it was caused by Microsoft's Edge browser. Try to reinstall it.

Was this helpful? Then give it a thumbs up and/or select it as the solution!

The problem came back after 1 day. I guess I will try fraenK's suggestion about Edge, or I may just uninstall Edge completely. I never wanted it on my computer in the first place. I hope they fix this bug, because the program is completely worthless to me in its current buggy condition.

Did you ever figur this one? I have the same problem now after first day trying out Power Automate

No. I gave up. I stopped using the program. Microsoft needs to fix this, not me.

Hi..
Do you have Stream deck of some sort?.....

I did some more digging and testing.....

so, 3th test now...

I restarted computer.

PAD is not working as we like

I am Quiting Stream Deck (My stream deck is not working now)

While i have not close PAD, i am now after quit that Stram Deck app, running the Automation with success.

I am now starting Stream deck Manually, and doing a new test

PAD is working.

STRANGE!!!!!

I do have a Stream Deck, but I bought it 5 months after I had this recurring problem with Power Automate Desktop and gave up.
