SharePoint - List folder bug when introducing File Identifier field manually

Hello there,

I am building a PAD flow that requires to create folders in sharepoint. For that purpose I am using List folder action to check if the folder about to create is present or not.

Thing is that this action does not work at all (Not Found error) if you hardcode or write anything manually in the File Identifier Field, which is a bit annoying....

Could you please confirm and fix this? Thank you

PD: I think that when you hardcode the File identifier field manually the underlying interpreter does not url encode it (I have encoded it manually and it works)

I think your thoughts are correct. I tried to replicate the issue and that seems to be the case.

So when manually writing the File Identifier even though it looks identical to when you would have picked the file path in the drop down it isn't the same in the code.

If I choose that from the drop down menu it works:

But if I write that path in the File Identifier it doesn't find the file.

If the path is written with URL encoding it works:

So if manually writing the File Identifier you need to replace:
/ with %%252f
spaces with %%2b
and any other special character that is encoded differently in URL encoding

Hopefully Microsoft will repair that bug in future updates.

Absolutely, you got the point 100%! Same results over here.

Also, it is happening something similar with "List rows present in a table". I cannot dinamically select the fileds here...I thought this platform would be easier to use...but whenever you want to customize it a bit problems arise

Are you using variables in the file path so that its dynamic? Would it work if you would just use Replace text -action to your filePath variable? So empty space replace with %%2b 

and / replace with %%252f

And then use the FilePath in the List folder File indentifier

And maybe same with the List rows present in a table. Just convert the filePath to Url encoding.

That's exactly what I did for the sharepoint list folder action, but for List rows present in a table it does not seem to work...I am invoking the PAD flow from Cloud flow (using sharepoint excel file as input). I'd like to read the rows present in that sharepoint excel file, but it's being a tough task.

What error is the PAD giving with the List rows present in a table? Is it not able to find the Table because you are using dynamic value? What if you hard code the table name in the Table field? Does it work then? If so then you could get the table name from the cloud and have it in another variable like so:

The error is "Dynamic output schema couldn't be retrieved". On top of that, when I copy and paste the action in notepad I see that the action expects (in case you populate the fields manually, not using the intellisense) drive id, file id and table id, NOT the names....which makes this a bit more complex

Weird. For me it works fine in this action even without any url encoding. And with using variables when in the File path and Table. I just used the table name the excel file has inside it not id.

God dammit, 

I was putting a dummy Filter query and that was the cause of the failure (all good, it works with the variables)
