Hi, folks. I am not a developer, not a coder, not a power user by any stretch of the imagination. I know nothing about PowerAutomate and treat it as a 'black box;' I find a set of instructions online and try to follow them, with zero clue how or why any of them operate.

In trying to set up an approval workflow for my SharePoint list, I used these instructions: Manage sequential approvals with Power Automate - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn . And unfortunately, I ran into a conflict crash almost immediately: Power Automate doesn't recognize my list. There's no info on what to do about this problem.

Any suggestions or insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, first things first, I really appreciate seeing all of your YouTube tabs open, it looks like you really gave it a shot. Props.

Your immediate issue here is "Site Address". In that area, you should only have the site. https://xxxxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/xxxxxxxx - nothing more than that. It should be selectable in the dropdown. Backspace what you have, and there should be a dropdown.

Once you have that, the dropdown of list names should populate.

Give that a shot, and we'll get to the next step for what you need.

Excellent! That worked. Hopefully that will make the "dynamic content" available for selection in later steps. I got stalled out at the step

"Insert the Created By Email token into the User (UPN) box on the Get manager card."

at least partly because I don't know what a token is and didn't see a way to insert one. It's just a required field, and typing the column name wasn't working.

Select the Created by Email from Dynamic Properties under the SharePoint trigger or action.

OK, that seems to be providing a list of recognized fields to choose from (which I'm guessing is the 'dynamic content' mentioned). That moves me a bit forward. I'm guessing that the Assigned To line of the email fields should be filled with the "Mail" value under Get Manager, right?

The next hangup is the Approval Step, which these instructions tell me to set up with a 'condition.' However, the condition instructions say I should go with "Choose a Value ( = Responses Approver Response)" and then choose the option Approve (vs. Reject). However, dynamic content options fail here; there are no valid field values presented to choose from. See screenshot below.
