Power Automate flow invalid connections for MS Forms and Sharepoint

Hello ,

We have a existing flow that connects to Microsoft Forms and SharePoint using our Admin's account. Now Admin is left and the account is disabled so Flows are not working anymore. It shows Invalid Connections.

Please help me to fix on this issue and the screen shots are inserted below.

And how can I replace the existing Admin's account that is currently selected (Invalid connection) by new Admin's account?

Hi @Anonymous

You could click "Add new connection" to add a new connection or try going to the Power automate portal page > Data > Connections and then find the connection and click on the three dots > Switch accounts and see if that works (see screenshot below).

For more info about manage connections you can refer to:

Hope the content above may help you.

When I switch to new user account and Save the workflow. It shows error msg "some connections are not authorized yet". We found that there is one invalid connection in Connections (MS Form) so we clicked "Invalid Connection" then this error appeared.

Please advise me how to continue. The invalid connection (account) is already left the company long time ago and his account was also removed from domain.

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry for the late reply.

Does the new account have MS Form permissions?

You can create a new Form with the new account, then create a new Flow and select the new Form to see if there is an error.

Does the Form exist in new account Microsoft Forms? When you use “When a new response is submitted” trigger with your own account, you could only achieve the forms that exist in your Form list.

If you want use other people's forms with you, you can refer to the steps as below:

Someone else should share the form as a template with you:

vLilyWmsft_0-1630893267660.png

You get this URL and sign in Microsoft Forms with your own account, type the URL link in browser and click “Duplicate it”:

vLilyWmsft_1-1630893267665.png

The Form will exist in your account with named xxx(copy)

vLilyWmsft_2-1630893267668.png

Then use “When a new response is submitted” trigger with your own account and you can use the form in Microsoft Flow:

Hi @v-LilyW-msft

I will need you help on this subject as well.

What happens :

I created a Power Automate yesterday, using a Forms trigger and every connection went fine, I could try some things.
This morning, no luck, all my connections are invalid.

But, the trigger still shows me some Forms I created.

What I did to try and resolve this :

  • I tried to go to Data>Connections, switch account on the Forms connection, logged in.
Under Data> Connections, I am connected, but not on the flow, which still stay to "Invalid connection".
  • I tried to create a new Automate triggered by Forms, but same issue, Invalid Connection.
  • I tried to create a new Automate triggered by OneDrive for business (when a file is modified), and the connection is good on this one. I then added a "Get response detail" from Forms connector and I have the connection issue. I suspect something wrong with Forms connector ?
  • -- EDIT-- added after some research :
I checked the throttling limits. the ones in offical Documentation  are :

    Throttling Limits

    Name Calls Renewal Period
    API calls per connection30060 seconds
    Frequency of trigger polls186400 seconds

I then checked the Analytics of my flow and here are the results :
     Runs/dayRuns/day  total action requests/daytotal action requests/day

What specificity I have

I have a MFA installed using the app MS Authenticator.

Could you help me overcoming this issue please ?

Thank you.

Have a nice day
