Error: Unable to access session/local storage.

I've been getting this error randomly for about a month when loading a Power Automate flow (error screenshot attached):

Error: Unable to access session/local storage. Please ensure your browser is configured to allow storage of local data.

The flow url is redirected to this url: https://make.powerautomate.com/autherror?errorKind=UserInterventionNeeded_StorageBlocked&errorDescri...

Refreshing a few times will finally load the flow. Any ideas on fixing this since I don't have Storage Blocked and it does work after refreshing.

I submitted a support ticket and they said that there is a release on October 6th that includes a fix for this issue.

The issue seems to be related to their change of domain names from flow.microsoft.com to make.powerautomate.com. The analytics data is stored locally in localstorage until it gets sync up, but the sync code is still using the old domain and is throwing a CORS error so it is never removed form localstorage. Clearing the localstorage analytics data fixes it for me. I just wrote a script that deletes all of the items that begin with "psanalytics" from localstorage.

I am facing the same issue.. Did you manage to find the solution?

No, I am still getting that error randomly. It seems like it is the first load on a new session. Once I get past the error I don't get it again for a few hours.

I also have the same issue. Today it seems worse, I tried to refresh many times and still get the same error. Using another browser for now.

Same here! what's happening?

Well, at least the flows are still running but we don't know until when.

I get this error pretty much constantly.  The weird part is that it's on 2 different computers but under the same account.  However, when I use an alternate account, I never get the error.

It's almost every time I open a new window and try to go to make.powerautomate.com.  I can usually get it but it's super annoying.

@kishbuy238 do you have any advice on this? Should we log a ticket somewhere? This is intermittent but is happening since a while now...

having the same problem all of a sudden

Hello! Me too! It was fine just yesterday but this morning, it's showing an error like this. I already tried clearing my cache and closing and opening but no luck.

Chiming in.
One of my colleagues has reported this problem (edit: problem was reported yesterday) as well when trying to accept an approval from outlook. From what I could gather the approval itself works as they were able to accept it in Teams and approvals from outlook themselves are not broken as I was not able to reproduce the error myself when asking others to accept approvals from outlook and accepting approvals myself.
Personally, seems weird that so many new replies have appeared for this thread in the last 24 hours. Perhaps this issue should be reported to MS?

The funny thing is that even when I click "contact support" button at the bottom of the page, it would only direct me to the same page/error.  Hope somebody else can reply to this with a solution!

Hello! I was able to open the website in Edge, if that helps.

A work-around that worked was to open it in an InPrivate-window in Edge.

EDIT: Clearing my cookies also solved the problem.

Well, it's October 6, and I don't know if they deployed anything yet, but it's been sporadic for me until this morning, and now it's happening every time I try to load make.powerautomate.com.

Opening in a private browser session seems to fix the problem, but it's really annoying.

Please follow the following steps to solve the issue. Microsoft recently change the url to access power automate from flow.microsoft.com to make.powerautomate.com

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More Settings .
  3. Click Privacy and security. Third-party cookies.
  4. Click See all site data and permissions.
  5. At the top right, search for the powerautomate.com.
  6. To the right of the site, click Delete .
  7. To confirm, click Delete.

As I said in my post, I've been using make.powerautomate.com for a long time. That url has been in use for long, long time.
