How to filter excel array data and send email

I have a collection file which contains

Loan account no

Customer name

Product Segment

Receipt no

PAID DATE

Paid Amount

Collected by

I am successful in formatting the Paid date as 'dd/MM/yyyy' using adddays('1899-12-30',int(item()['PAID DATE']),'dd-MM-yyyy')

but further i want to filter Paid date column to only current month which is April. Please find herewith the flow. When i try to insert it between select and create html table step, I am getting error.

KUMAR_BFL_0-1619374546614.png

Error: The execution of template action 'Filter_array' failed: The evaluation of 'query' action 'where' expression '@contains(adddays('1899-12-30', int(item()['PAID DATE']), 'dd-MM-yyyy'), 'utcNow(''MM'')')' failed: 'The template language function 'int' was invoked with a parameter that is not valid. The value cannot be converted to the target type.'.

Detailed Process:

Hi @KUMAR_BFL

Thank you for your quick reply.

You can't directly select it from the dynamic list. Please input item()?['column name'] one bye one manually.

Hope it helps.

Hi @KUMAR_BFL

Thank you for posting.

According to your description, you would like to find out the related records from excel based on date. If any misunderstanding, please kindly let me know.

Here is my excel:

I simplified part of your steps for data filtering. Flow overview:

v-duann-msft_1-1619405475588.png

Expressions:

formatDateTime(addDays('1899-12-31', int(item()?['Contract End Date'])), 'yyyy-MM')

formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM')

formatDateTime(addDays('1899-12-31', int(item()?['Contract End Date'])), 'yyyy-MM-dd')

Once tested, I’m able to get records in this month.

Hope the content above may help you.

Best regards,

Anna

Thanks for correcting the expression. I replicated the expression in my flow and able to get the expected results.

but i am not able to fetch other columns in create html table. I am wondering how did you get the contract name column in purple (highlighted below)

KUMAR_BFL_0-1619409909925.png

In my case column names are listed under "List rows present in a table'. If i select the column names, then apply to each step is automatically applied. I don't know how to get columns names from the filtered current month output.

Thank you very much. Its now 100% working.

Just a small correction in expressions - ('1899-12-31' should be '1899-12-30') to get correct results.

Expressions:

formatDateTime(addDays('1899-12-30', int(item()?['Contract End Date'])), 'yyyy-MM')

formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM')

formatDateTime(addDays('1899-12-30', int(item()?['Contract End Date'])), 'yyyy-MM-dd')

Could you help me please? I have the same task, but html show me formula which I entered .
