Hi Experts,

How to get  array of folders to traverse each folder for specific file to copy to sharepoint

This is my flow

1. Trigger 

2. List folders (Sharepoint)

Here is the problem 3.  For each folder above (ISfolder = YES)

4. For each folder 

5. For each item two conditions ( Name contains ... and File ends with .xlsx) 

6. create file another share point site  with above file name and above body 

Here are my problems:

After List Folder - Step 2 above 

when put a condition isFolder, the application automatically creating superset loop Apply to each Body .. failing the flow saying expecting array not boolean. 

Please can you help

1. What I need to fill in the Library name in the get file properties ?

2. You are comparing the folder name with a variable, but folders has many sub folders, do I have to repeat this for all the name? 3. Lastly you are folder, does it copy the entire file into my destination share point?

Hi @acerNZ ,

1\ You need to fill in the Library name in the get file properties.

2\ If you want to get all the folders (including subfolders) in a directory, you only need to modify the ‘include nested items’ in the Get files action to Yes.

3\ My flow is only used to get the folders in the root directory of my library.  it has no follow-up operations, you could refer to the figure below.

In the picture, it will list all the contents in the  ‘Test1’,’Test2’ folders.

If there are subfolders in test1 or  test2, it will not list the files in subfolders.

I did try with sub folders as Yes but I have specific files of with names "ABCXX.XLSX" the flow failed there 

I did put conditions and changed the flow based on search but I need help to fetch the file from the folder so that I can use Create File in sharepoint

If you can help me out on that, that would be great. 

The problem is the connections are getting me the folders but not the list inside the folder. 

Once I get the file inside the folder to a variable, I can compare and create a file in the sharepoint

Getting a file from the folder failed

Run condition fails to compare the file with specific type and condition as instead of list of files inside folder to compare, I get folder to compare\\

Is your structure the same as the picture below? 

Do you want to get B.xlsx, C.xlsx, D.xlsx, E.xlsx and F.xlsx?

If not, please provide your structure and tell me your specific needs.

Does this picture give you clarity, Yes as per your picture above, I want those files in the shrarepoint1, folders - Sub folders Files  _Filter (if the name contains ... and type .xlsx) then copy to sharepoint2 folder (only one folder)

Please can you confirm, if you get the assigned string variable after get file properties "Full path" has library with Folder concatenated.
My script is replica of yours and running for long time and It never fetches the file to compare with file executing the false logic. Please can you see this when you have time.
Here is the problem I am facing it never executes loop after file comparison and I suspect "Full Path" assigned to variable
