How would you like to post an email(outlook365) received outside business hours to Excel.

I set up MicrosoftFlow for my colleagues. (Team flow)
When she receive an email, it is aposting to Excel.
However, it does not move.
The test works fine, but does not work when she receive an email.
I want to post only customer mail to Excel.
Why can't I receive and post e-mail to Excel outside business hours?
How can I use it 24 hours a day?
I use Office365.
And we're use Outlook / Excel / MicrosoftFlow.
I am using windows10.

Thank you very much.

Hi @Saoriiiiiiiiiin ,

Please check if the current Team Flow's trigger configuration is as expected. Also, check the Flow run history for any errors to find out why the Flow is not running.

Regarding checking the configuration of the trigger, if you use When an email arrives as a trigger, you need to check if the following configurations are as expected.

  • Look at the connection selected, for example, barry is selected here, then Flow will only trigger when barry receives the email.
  • Inbox: Flow will trigger when a message is moved to the Inbox folder or an email is received.
  • If you set Importance, Flow will only trigger if you receive an email corresponding to importance.
  • Regarding Has Attachment, if you set it to No or empty, indicating that Flow will be triggered regardless of whether the received email contains an attachment; if set to Yes, the email will be triggered if the email contains an attachment.

Hope it makes sense.

When tested on my PC, it worked fine even when the PC was off. So I asked a question.
Thank you.
If you check carefully, it seems that her Inbox sorts emails automatically, is that relevant?

All confirmation items have been confirmed.
What is Barry? I want you to tell me.

There was no error.
Also, the test is working, but the trigger is not working and Flow doesn't start well.

Thank you.

Hi @Saoriiiiiiiiiin ,

This is a Team Flow, so Flow only triggers when you receive an eligible email.

Because the connection in this Flow is created using your personal account.

MS Flow is a cloud service that is not affected by time or the operating system. As long as your configuration is correct, it will run automatically.

You could check the Online doc for more details on creating a Flow:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/get-started-logic-template

In addition, you can suggest that your colleague create a Flow based on the current Flow and use her own account. Or you can export the Flow as a zip file and share it with her:

https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/import-export-bap-packages/
