I've built a very simple UI Flow for Web and I want to run it triggering the flow manually.
Whenever I try it fails and gives a "InvalidConnectionCredentials" error.
"Could not connect to the Power Automate UI flows Agent.
Please make sure that the UI flows connection credentials are valid."
I've seen some other have had the same issue, but none of the provided solutions have helped my problem.
My user is joined with an AAD domain as I understand, but I don't know if that can have an impact on the issue.
I've tried establishing the connection from Power Automate through my on premise data gateway with every possible combination of <domain>\<username>, <username>@<domain>.com and the credentials I use to logon my machine which has the gateway installed, but still with the InvalidConnectionCredentials.
I'm using on prem gateway version 3000.21.18 (December 2019)
Do you have any ideas on how to correctly run a UI Flow?

Okay little uplifting update.
I got it to work on a VM with a local admin.
The way I did it was to sign in on the gateway with the same user that runs the flow and then I changed the service account (probably NT SERVICE\PBIEgwService) on the gateway to my local admin.
It seems though that it won't work on my own machine and the only thing that is different to my VM solution is that my user is azure joined.

Was there any change in your organization in terms of authentication? If 2-factor authentication was enabled then your connections are invalidated and you may get errors like that.
I see that you tried to create the connection in multiple ways. Did you try to test if the connection is connected correctly in Data > Connections?
Can you share a few print-screens with more information so that I can try to help you?
If I have answered your question, please mark your post as Solved.
If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.
Cheers

Hi @manuelstgomes ,
I have 2-factor authentication enabled, but it was enabled before creating the connections and nothing regarding terms of authentication has been changed since the connection was created.
Everything looks normal to me in Data > Connections, but I could be mistaken. I'm having trouble posting images in this reply, but inside Connection details the status is "connected", in the flows detail, under Connections to the right the connection is listed with a green check mark next to it, and under gateway details it the Status is "online" and the Version Status is "You are running the latest gateway version.

I'll try to post the pictures
EDIT: Pictures added
I'm having the exact same problem.
Everything is showing as connected. But when I run my flow I get the same error. And I don't use 2 factor authentication.
Very sad as I can't use the tool to show to the executives of my company how interesting the UI Flows can be 😞
{
"error": {
"code": "InvalidConnectionCredentials",
"message": "Could not connect to the Power Automate UI flows Agent. Please make sure that the UI flows connection credentials are valid."
}
}
It's very frustrating indeed.
I have since tried on a VM and my boss has tried on his machine, but all with the same outcome. This really feels like it's out of my hands and maybe something the Power Automate team has to rectify. Hopefully soon there will be a solution to this.

Hi @manuelstgomes and @Anonymous
Microsoft Support team has now answered my ticket.
They say that since it's a preview feature issues like that is expected to happen and they suggest to post issues on the community forums. So if you guys, or anybody else, doesn't have a fix to the issue, there's not much to do.
They say that as soon as it's not in preview anymore, all issues should be rectified.
Until then, I'll accept this as the solution since no actual solution is provided

I have been having this same issue. I decided to look into a VM to run the UI flows but i see it says it wont work with the desktop flows. Have you found a solution to that?
I just executed a Win 32 UI flow on my VM without any issues. What error(s) are you getting?
/Anders
I havent tried to do it as yet but in this documentation (Link Provided) it says it wouldn't work, but if you tried it and it worked ill def give it a try.
