Modifying HTML Table Cell Alignment

Hello,

I have a question about how to change the alignment in an HTML table.  I would like the data for Col_03 to be left aligned while the header "Col_03" stays centered.  All of the other data should stay centered.  I'm pretty new to HTML so this might be really easy but I haven't been able to find anything that can modify the alignment of the data rows in the style section of the code.

Here's some more detail on what I'm trying to do, if needed:

  1. Pull data from a SharePoint list
  2. Create an HTML table for the data
  3. Save the table into an html file
  4. Convert the html file into a pdf
  5. Email the pdf to the user

Thank you!

@annajhaveri Please disregard the post.  I found a way to format the table by coding it with formatting in PowerApps before sending it to Power Automate.  Thank you for responding to the post!

For everyone who comes across this. You can also inject the text alignment within the "Create HTML Table" action:

columnalign1.png

<div style="text-align: left">YOUR REFERENCE</div>

Note that when you use the output of the action, you need to replace the special characters to make sure you get proper HTML code:

columnalign2.png

replace(replace(replace(replace(body('Create_HTML_table'), '&lt;', '<'), '&gt;', '>'), '&quot;', '"'), '^', ' ')

Bonus tip: As you can see I added a "^" in the table headers, which I later replace to allow for spaces in the header titles.

@annajhaveri Thank you for the response!  How would I incorporate that into "HTML-LEFT"?  Can I put the style attribute for the td tags between <style> and </style>?  If so, what would the code look like?  I thought they would go between <body> and </body>.  I wasn't sure how to handle that since the body is being handled by the output of "Create HTML table - LEFT."

Is it also possible to rename the column names of the HTML table?

This is what you do in the "Create HTML table" step. Here you can set whichever column header you want and map it to the value you want to see listed in the column. Or do you mean something else?

@Mace yes you are right. I also recognized that in the Create HTML table Action you can choose the header and value
