OneDrive create PDF not translating correct Dates from SharePoint Fields upon creation

Good morning,

I am pretty stuck on this issue as i have not been able to get the correct dates to come across into my PDF and it seems that the Convert to PDF in One Drive is causing the issue. My Flow is below and the SharePoint Details are correct along with the Word Document as it is created in the temp Location but the PDF displays a date like the date before. 

The dates on the Form created in the Create File step are listed below:

Has anyone else had this issue before and how did you work around it?

I don't know if this will work, but the problem may be related to the fact that all dates in SharePoint are stored in UTC time. Use the Convert Time Zone action to convert the two date fields from UTC to your time zone and use those dates when you create the file. Then see if that fixes the problem when it is converted to PDF. With the dates being off by one day, I think it may have something to do with SharePoint storing dates in UTC.

I just noticed something else. You are first creating the file in SharePoint, then you are getting the file from SharePoint and creating it in OneDrive. You then convert the OneDrive file to pdf. Your SharePoint site may have a different time zone setting than your OneDrive and that could be causing the issue.

Hi David, 

Thanks for the prompt reply and i am working with my IT Provider on checking the Time zones set in the tenant as i have reviewed the regional Settings in the SharePoint sites and these are correct and to our time zone. 

The weird thing is that it is correct all the way through up until the Onedrive conversion so it seems to be a One drive time zone related issue. I always thought that One Drive uses your Local Asset settings and these are correct on my asset. 

I will advise upon how we fix the issue if we do and do you known the best way to convert dates from UTC to UTC Brisbane time? I am a bit new to the UTC now or conversion expressions and would love you help if you can assist.

If you use the Convert time zone action, it is quite easy. 

Just set your date field as the base time and set the rest as above with your preferred date format. You can then use the output of this action to create your file.

I could not get the Conert Time Zone action to work as it gave me an error so i changed my fields to be just strings and used the below to format the fields to display how i need them.

This worked a trick but really just put a band aid on the date issue but it is ok for now for me.

convert time zone never worked for me either. What is the solution for this when .doc to .pdf changes the date by one day?  Maybe convert time zone needs to be pointed more specifically at the pdf conversion step
