Power Automate Flow running slow-performance

Experts, We have a very complex flow that perform a complex process. it is using many actions and loop. when we test it, it runs fine(under hour) but when we are scheduling it (automate run), it is running for days to complete. any suggestion or experience with similar issue?

Hello Andria,
I think you are using the M365 license to run flow. I wonder if there is a simple answer to your question as it will depend on many factors. I had a similar issue a long time ago. Basically, you are hitting the throttling limit in Power Automate. As you said, your flow is very complex and does many things.
My recommendation is to review your flow and reduce the number of actions or upgrade the flow license to per-flow or per user.

As @DeepakS says you may be running into limits, but I've had a similar experience when I moved from test data to production.  Loops can be extremely time consuming unless pagination is turned on in the settings.  The one issue with enabling pagination is that if you use variables inside the loop it will automatically slow down pagination due to locks on the variables.  So do two things.  Wherever possible turn on pagination in the loops and replace the use of variables inside the loops with Compose statements.  Doing that on a recent flow I worked on got the runtime down from 9+ hours to 37 minutes.
