Send email with options by shared mailbox

Hi,

I've just create the flow for sending an email with options from my shared mailbox to many users in the SP List.

And I found a site that can do some trick with the flow, here.

https://techdailychronicle.com/power-automate-how-to-send-an-email-with-options-from-a-shared-mailbo...

what I found is this advice for only 1 user, but what I want is for many users from the list,

can anyone help me about this?

@Nuiii The blog shows to create two flow:

1. First flow which sends email with options to a shared mailbox (here the actual recipients of email are mentioned in the email subject)

2. Second flow which checks for email in shared mailbox which is sent by first flow, and then it takes all the recipients from email subject and sends the same email to actual recipients from shared mailbox.

So you can fetch users from SP List in first flow and append the user emails in subject of email which is sent to shared mailbox, and the second flow will take care of sending the email to all users

@annajhaveriI would say like this, actually the users in the SP List they have an individual information. that's mean the email body and information should not the same, then I use the column name to fetch the users but in the advised flow I can't use the column name.

Thank you

Hi @Nuiii

I had a requirement to send emails to all the users in a D365 team.

you can find them below

Send emails to users in a team.(using a distribution list) - Send an Email to all users in a D365 Team using power automate | CloudFronts

Send emails to individual users in a team(without a distribution list) - Send an email to users in a D365 Team Individually using power automate (without using a distributio...

Hope this helps !

@Nuiii  you do that as well. What you need to do is instead of including all emails in To address of email sent to Shared mailbox, you could send separate email for each email address to Shared mailbox, rest of the steps you would follow same as per the blog

Anna Jhaveri

No Problem @Nuiii  glad to know your issue is resolved.

Now the flow can run to the 2nd flow, but now I got an error like this

Flow.png

if i'm not misunderstanding, the error says that I have to convert the array to string before put in the TO field. am I right?

@Nuiii  yes thats correct, you need to convert array to string, to put email addresses in To field, you can use Join action to do that, as shown in below screenshot

@annajhaverinow I can pass through the 2nd flow, but I found something.

the email that send out from sharedmailbox is duplicate,

I meant users get many emails with others information (the number depends on how many lines in SP list)

for example. I got 2 users in SP List, and the flow was sent 2 emails to both users (each information)

This is my 1st flow.

1.png

This is my 2nd flow.

2.png

and the results

Sent items in sharedmailboxSent items in sharedmailbox

1st email1st email

2nd email2nd email

I have no idea, how to handle it,

😥

Do you have any advice?

Thank you in advance

Best Regards,

Nuii
