I created an automated flow to send an email if certain columns had been modified in a SharePoint list, but it sends out multiple duplicate emails. I assume it's sending multiple because of the conditions. How do I set up the flow to only send one email if all or only a few conditions are met? (attached is the flow I created)
Example: I have two categories on my SharePoint list, one for home and another for office. If certain columns have been modified for the home category an email would go to a certain person. And if certain columns have been modified for the office category it will go to someone else.
I have four columns - C1 Cleaning Service, C2 Repairs, C3 Pantry Restock, C4 Lawn Care (each column has multiple choice selections, but I just need to know if it changed, regardless of the chosen selection). I only want to know when items are modified in C1, C2 and C4. So if I modify/change C1 and C4 only for home, how do I set up the flow to only send one email and not send two emails because both C1 and C4 columns were modified?
Thank you

It's trigging multiple times and sending the same email. I will rethink my strategy and go from there. Thanks for your input.
Is your flow sending out multiple e-mails in each run, or is it triggering multiple times and sending the same e-mail? Based on your screen shot, I don't see how it could send out multiple e-mails for one run unless you are not showing part of your flow and the e-mail action is within an Apply to each action.
If it is sending out through multiple runs of the flow, I am not sure how you can prevent that since your trigger condition is when an item is modified. You would need to determine something you could add as a trigger condition that would prevent the workflow from triggering unless it meets your conditions. But since you need to know if a field has changed since it was last modified, that is not something you can do in a trigger condition.

What you could always do is set up a variable and if the conditions are met, you can have it input "TRUE" or some other specific word into the variable. Then set up a second condition, if [variable] equals TRUE then send email.
You will want to initialize the variable at the beginning. Within your current condition, you could either use the "Set Variable" function or "Append to String Variable" function depending on what your goal is and how many items might be running through this. I would have a separate condition after that concentrated on what is showing in your variable.
You might find that your condition logic is off and it is erroneously setting the variable when it shouldn't. I would do a lot of testing to see when it triggers and sends an email.
janessanelson - do you have an example you could share regarding how to set up the variable?
So I think you potentially have 2 different things going on. This may solve your issue without needing to establish a variable. I would potentially do both to start and see how it's running.
1) I re-read your prompt, it sounds like you are referencing a multi-choice field, and it is creating this "apply to each" condition for you. You should probably insert a "Select" function to parse out the multi-choice information to avoid an "apply to each" situation. I added that into my picture so you can see how I set it up. With these, you use the field in "From". I then make the "Map" field an expression item()?['value'] to avoid another "apply to each" reference here. I found these Select features work best when using any multi-select choice field.
2) You should initialize your variable and then have it set the variable if the condition is met. You would then create another condition that references the variable.
Hopefully this is what you are looking for.
Thank you! I will give that a try. Will let you know if it works.
